Our Story
From humble beginnings to a thriving community celebrating together.
1990 - The Beginning
Started by a small group of families who wanted to create a space where South Asian culture could flourish in North Dakota. Our first gathering was a simple Diwali celebration in a community center with just 20 people.
2020 - Growing Together
Word spread, and our community began to grow. We organized our first Garba night, summer picnic, and cultural program. Families from across the state started joining our celebrations, creating lasting friendships.
2025 - Thriving Community
Today, we're proud to be a vibrant community of over 500 members. We host regular events, support local causes, and have become a cornerstone of cultural diversity in the Bismarck-Mandan area.
